Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have a strong history. The latest episode of that features ex-girlfriend, actor Max Ehrich. Although neither she nor Lovato is involved, here’s why Gomez fans they are skeptical of Ehrich’s reasons for one November 2020 Instagram headline.
Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez used to be friends
Gomez and Lovato met while starring in the show Barney & friends when they were just children. Years later, the pair made their way from Texas to Los Angeles to be involved in Disney Channel projects. The friendship grew when they worked together, but there have been times when they have not been close to the last decade.
After Gomez congratulated Lovato on her achievement of the 2020 Grammy Awards, Lovato explained the status of the relationship. “When you grow up with someone, you will always love them,” she said Bazaar Harper, “But I’m not friends with her.” Lovato said, “I’ll love her forever.”
Demi Lovato divorced her boyfriend Max Ehrich
By the time the Harper’s Bazaar interview came out, it was public knowledge that Lovato and Ehrich were an object. Although they tried to keep their relationship a secret for a month or two, they confirmed it in May 2020, when they appeared in the music video for Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s song “Stuck with U.”
Ehrich and Lovato turned the heat on their romance with regular Instagram posts and videos over the next month or two. In July 2020, they announced the connection, marking five months together a few days later. However, in September 2020, Lovato broke the promise, breaking up with Ehrich.
The title on Ehrich ‘s Instagram is similar to Gomez’ s words
After it got dark around the time he and Lovato broke up, Ehrich returned Instagram, maintaining a presence for its fans. It shares standard photos and videos – some positive, some not. On November 11, 2020, he posted a selfie, captioned, “I want a gf,” (meaning lover).
While some assumed it was a message about Lovato, others noticed it sounded like words. “Are there any good ones left? ~ SELENA GOMEZ, ”said one fan. In 2020, Gomez released her song, “Boyfriend,” on which she sings, “I want a boyfriend / Tell me, are there any good ones left? ”
Ehrich has a history of commenting on Gomez
The Instagram post could have nothing to do with Gomez’s words. But fans have reason to believe that this is not a coincidence. Of course, Ehrich has a history of posting about the artist. Although he deleted his Twitter before he and Lovato parted ways, many of those tweets were captured by others.
In fact, Ehrich ‘s respect for Gomez may have played a part in his relationship coming to an end. Just days before they broke out, Lovato identified what she called “medical” screenshots. “It’s really sad when people FIND images to pit women against each other,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “If women are struggling then it is NOT between them.”
