‘Scrubs’: The Mistake That Lasted 5 Seasons and Drove Elizabeth Banks Wild

In the long television history of medical shows, not much has been done Scrubs carried out. While medical dramas have been a staple on network television for several decades, there was little fair comedy with the drama how Scrubs rinn. It was a carefully scrutinized comedy that still packed a punch of drama like Anatomy Gray. However, one mistake lasted over five seasons and derailed Elizabeth Banks until she joined the team and was able to fix it.

What are Scrubs??

Scrubs debuted on NBC in 2001. While many medical shows offered gritty, somewhat rational pictures of the hospital, they would often move toward melodrama and avoid the light-hearted part of things. Balancing this lightness with some dark subject, Scrubs offering something different for fans of the medical genre.

The biggest sale of Scrubs it may have been his throw. Although most of the team didn’t know or equate to smaller positions at the time, it made several of its members bigger stars.

Zach Braff, played by JD Dorian, has been a successful film actor and director ever since. Donald Faison, known to many fans Clueless, became a household name with more star power. From Sarah Chalke to John C. McGinley, Scrubs several star actors made a big name no matter what their previous experience was.

While the show was an undeveloped comedy, that doesn’t mean it noticed more rational aspects of its foundation. The show hired a number of medical consultants to make sure that no matter what happened on screen, it was based on buildings that were somewhat reasonable.

He was well-liked by fans. For most of the nine-year run, the last two on ABC as members began throwing on a boat, the show was very engaging.

Several famous stars came in and ran through the run, but Elizabeth Banks did something more when she added clothes to the title.

As the show became more popular, its guest stars began to grow as well. In season five, Elizabeth Banks, who was already making her name on the big screen, joined the team in a recycling role at Professor Kim Briggs, urologist.

Divorce doctor Kim has been revealed as a long-time employee of St. Vincent’s hospital. However, JD had a twist inside his brain that meant he had never seen married women. After the divorce, however, he began to notice.

For too long, JD and Kim were in a relationship, and for too long, Kim was pregnant. JD and Kim tried to make it work but eventually went their separate ways. But, with a child, the two remained cordial.

While all of this was great, however, perhaps the biggest contribution Banks made to the show was fixing an error that drove her mad for years before she last joined the team and that she had the power to repair.

Sliding things around

During the opening credits of the show, fans will see an x-ray sign on the back. However, if they paid close attention to it, they realized that the sign was back.

Perhaps, because of her cinematic look for detail, Banks noticed this when she was just following the famous comedy. However, when Kim was introduced to the audience, one of the first things she did was turn the errant sign and tell them that he had been pushing her for years.

It was a meta-joke that sounded like the worries of Banks’ daily life. It was also a good introduction to the character. Nonetheless, fans of the show, whether they are megastars or extras, sometimes get so overwhelmed that they notice these little things.

Who knows what mistakes have yet to go unnoticed, but lucky for the creators of the Scrubs, Banks grabbed the errant sign, and found a way to incorporate the gaffe into her character.
