Sarah Jessica Parker Speaks on Kim Cattrall After ‘Sex and the City’ Revival Announcement

Feis and the City is (finally) returning. On January 10, news broke that a recovery series was in the works at HBO Max. But the thing is, Kim Cattrall will not be returning.

Cattrall has repeatedly said that she would not return for anything SATC projects among her sex with some members, most notably Sarah Jessica Parker. But whatever the history, Parker says she has no problem with her former co-star.

The ‘Sex and the City’ revival is on the way

After weeks of rumors, Variety he confirmed that a revival had been called And Just like that going on. With Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes), and Kristin Davis (Charlotte York), they focus on the three best friends as they “navigate the love and friendship of the 50s. ”

An official release date has yet to be released, but the 10-episode series will begin filming in New York in the spring of 2021, according to the revolution.

Cattrall refused to resume her role as Samantha Jones in the future SATC projects, announcing that she wants to focus on things that are more connected to her personal interests. “I don’t want to be in a situation for even an hour where I don’t like it,” she said in a 2019 interview The Keeper.

After posting a teaser trailer of the revival to her Instagram, Parker began raising fan questions. When a fan said they would “miss” Cattrall Samantha’s character, Parker responded (via Entertainment tonight): “We will do that too. We loved her very much. X ”

She went on to deal with their sex after one of her fans accused Parker of not liking Cattrall. “I don’t like her. I never said that. Never, ”she explained. “Samantha is not part of this story. But she will always be a part of us. No matter where we are or what we do. X ”

Cattrall did not respond publicly to Parker’s comments. But when asked about their sex in a Los Angeles Times an interview published in September 2020, she barely said anything.

“Everything is on Google, so I encourage you to Google it, about anything I said,” she said. “I feel like that was then, and when I look at what’s going on around me, I have no regrets.”
