‘Rock of Love With Bret Michaels’ was a showcase of VH1 data

Just like Am Bachelor, Michaels was looking for a woman in a reality television situation. Through a series of group and one-on-one dates, Michaels dated 20-year-old women to find out who he thought would be “the rock of love.”

Sculls was one of the last three women during The Rock of Love Season 1. Michaels eventually chose Jes Rickleff as his last daughter. But one of the reasons Sculls made him long in the tournament is because she played the villain.

Lacey Sculls prevented ‘Rock of Love With Bret Michaels’ from being a sad show

Speaking to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, Sculls remembered the first night in the The Rock of Love premises.

“I clearly remember the first day,” Sculls explained. “I remember Mia [Tidwell] and a couple of other girls were talking about doing it [their] nails or talking about something that looked very wet. ”

Sculls recalled the cameras moving into this “mundane” conversation, which involved comparing French manicures to acrylic nail tips.

“I remember watching them, watching them talk, listening to what they were saying, and then looking at the camera men in there, and I was like, ‘Oh , my God, this show is going to be af * cking flop, ‘”Sculls added, laughing. “I was like that, I need to do something. And that’s kind of when I knew it [I had to become the villain]. ”

Lacey Scull’s was the ‘Rock of Love’ speaker to keep things interesting

Sculls goal in participating Rock of Love By Bret Michaels creating entertainment television. To do so, she became a spokesperson.

“I have to do this deadly thing,” Sculls recalled thinking. “It will be fun. I love villains anyway. ”

“It was my main goal [to make] this TV is showing as good as it can be, ”continued Sculls. “I want to add in any way I can to make sure that this TV show is going to be a success and that people are going to enjoy it. ”

And that’s exactly what she did. Ironically, the popular VH1 villain encouraged Sculls to take that role in the The Rock of Love house.

Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard encouraged Lacey Sculls to become a speaker

Tiffany Pollard – aka “New York” – was waiting for the heart of Flavor Flav during Taste of love Season 1. As the “B * tch Head” that season, Pollard made it to the final two. Unfortunately, Flavor Flav chose Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander as his last daughter.

After reviewing all of these shows before she started The Rock of Love, Sculls felt a special connection to Pollard’s deadly methods.

“When I looked Taste of love, I had the same reaction about ‘New York’ that a lot of people had when they looked at me, ”admitted Sculls. “I was like, ‘Why is she still there? She is horrible. Send her home. ”

Despite his villainous career, Pollard was invited back for a cameo during Taste of love Season 2 and given a spinoff series, I Love New York.

“[In] I Love New York, you can see a little more of Tiffany Pollard and I was like, ‘Oh, she really looks funny and very incompetent,’ ”Sculls explained.

That’s when things started to click. “New York” was a Pollard character created for the show. When Sculls was invited Rock of Love By Bret Michaels, she understood what worked for Pollard and what did not. Sculls entered the mansion, fully accepting the role of duchess. Playing the villain Sculls got pretty long, just like he did for Pollard.
