Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan will play the loving couple Claire and Jamie Fraser on it Outlander. The two have become good friends over the years. And behind the scenes, they share a friendly feast that fans won’t see.
In a recent interview with a Outlander co-stars Tom Downie and David Berry, Heughan described one of his always-quilting quilts. And he suggested that Balfe is usually the first to make fun of him.

Meaning Heughan is getting older, Balfe mentioned Zimmer’s nose and frame hair trimmer – a four-legged walker that seniors often use to help with mobility.
The ‘Outlander’ stars will always have each other’s backs
Heughan and Balfe have a special relationship, which translates as believable on-screen chemistry. In an interview with Gold derby, Heughan Balfe praised and expressed their mutual support at all times.
“She’s intelligent, she’s very understanding but very kind, and she’s always very caring too,” he said. “So I think I’m so lucky – the most important part of this is to trust and be behind each other.”
While they are very professional when it comes to their trades, the two are also honing behind the scenes. “We’re fools you know, we laugh a lot, we talk rubbish,” said Heughan. “We are very childish. But it’s good to have her – I wouldn’t be more grateful to have such a good co-star. ”
