“As soon as other students found out I had questions, the main one was: ‘Are you related? ‘Others would say,’ I bet you’d rather be the real Naomi Campbell, ‘she said. “These ideas are very tiring.”
“Of course this translated me into a comparison between the two of us, and I ended up very conscious of my appearance,” the 23-year-old teacher said honestly. “I was scared of other people thinking of the two of us side by side. I was a teenager, and I felt weird anyway, so those ideas didn’t help. ”

The 2 Naomi Campbells have something else in common

The teacher Campbell noted this in her Metro piece, although she didn’t even make the connection herself. “When I moved to Streatham in London from Leeds, aged 23, I was excited about what this new chapter of my life would bring,” she said. “I didn’t realize that I had unfortunately moved to the birthplace of my famous name, and that the humor and ideas that followed me all my life were only getting worse.”
“I remember thinking, ‘What are the opportunities? As if sharing a name was enough, ‘”Campbell continued. “At the times when I talk to the locals, they tell me about different buildings and tell me where the ‘real’ Naomi Campbells went to school or did this or that. I know so much about her childhood now that I could almost lead a ‘Naomi Campbell life’ guided walk. ”
Supermodel Campbell shouted at her “new friend” from Streatham in her Instagram post about their meeting, and used the hashtag #SouthLondonGirls with the Union Jack flag.
