Miley Cyrus has had many dogs over the years

Cyrus is no stranger to pets. During her years under observation, she has acquired many of them, including pigs and other farm animals while living in Malibu with her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. However, more than any other creature, Cyrus has many, many dogs.

Sadly, not all of her experience with canines has come to a positive conclusion. Like a few other Disney stars (including Demi Lovato’s friend), one of Cyrus’ dogs, Floyd, died while on her Bangerz tour in 2014. She quickly introduced another dog , Moonie, but she was too heartbroken, and she took it away. .

Among them is her bell, Mary Jane

One of Cyrus’ longest receiving dogs is her pit bull mix, Mary Jane. She adopted Mary Jane in May 2012, naming Twitter, “Meet the latest addition to our family Mary Jane 🙂 I love to save. Around the same time, Cyrus and Hemsworth caught a puppy, Happy.

Along with other dogs like Emu, Mary Jane is among the most talked about dogs about Cyrus. Some of that comes back to her name. “Is it weird that I have a dog called Mary Jane? Or is that what you think my dog’s name would be? ”She said in a Interview 2017, citing its history with marijuana.

Full statement from Cyrus after the death of Mary Jane

On January 7, 2021, Cyrus shared a series of text posts to her Instagram Story. Here is her account, in its entirety, broken up with photos she has shared of Mary Jane over the years:

Anyone who knows me and does not have to be well knows that my best friend in the world is a pit bull rescue that was saved by the name of Mary Jane.

MJ was diagnosed with cancer more than a year ago…. & since then multivitamins and tumors. I was told that it would be a very uncertain time until she was gone. Advising to spend every second tasting her special spirit…. something that was not new. I had been for 10 years.

In life it is easy to take things for granted. To let small miracles pass you by without thankful moments. To be rude when the rays of heaven shine on you. But when it came to my ANGEL Mary Jane… I never forgot the gift that was given to me. Ie made it impossible. She was a winged dog in a way.

I thanked her again and again as she took her last breath for who and what she has been to me. He was something more than a friend or family member. Something so different. You can’t explain it. Our connection was just DIVINE. Unparalleled love.

We never said painful things that we didn’t mean to each other. We never fought and went to bed angry. Not once has our loyalty gone down.

She has come to my rescue every time my heart is broken. Put me back together again. Going through this pain without its magical power is so lonely.

This time it was my duty to return all favors and keep her comfortable, happy, and pain-free for as long as possible…. she had always done that for me. It doesn’t hurt anymore but I do. That’s what he likes.

Mary Jane passed by grace, honor, peace, & power. She lived by the golden rule of kindness and compassion for all. She was strong when she had to be but she never wanted to [sic] fada. She would never let her soul close. She lived so open. To love and be loved.

If that were just we would all be more like Mary Jane.
