Was Melissa Gilbert a fan of it Rob Lowethe book? Based on her 2014 interview answer to a question asking her opinions about Lowe’s autobiography Stories that I will only tell to my friends, she did not like that.
Melissa Gilbert wrote a lot about Rob Lowe in her book
In her memory Prairie story, Gilbert grabbed her relationship on and off with Lowe, who she started dating when she was 17.

In her book, she wrote about the terrible loss she suffered. “I had lost my baby and my relationship with Rob… and it hurt like hell,” she wrote.
Melissa Gilbert did not seem happy with Lowe ‘s book
She had a humorous response, which seemed to indicate that she was not interested in his material, especially since he barely mentioned it in his memoirs.
“Did he write a book ?,” she replied with a smile. “I don’t know … maybe someone wrote it? I’m not sure. “
Cohen also asked what Lowe thought of her book and admitted that he had one small change – he didn’t want to be called “well.” ”
“He asked me to say the word ‘beautiful’ when I mentioned it,” Gilbert explained. “That was it… ‘Just could you do one thing? Please don’t call me well. I hate it when people call me good. ‘”
Melissa Gilbert with the date Tom Cruise
Before she fell head over heels in love with Lowe, Gilbert dated another A-list actor who was just starting out at the time: Tom Cruise.
“Really, when I added a date it was still Tom Mapother,” Gilbert said after a fan asked if the rumor about him was true. “It was when he first moved to Los Angeles and I think I was maybe… 16 or 17? ”
Cohen wondered if Gilbert had the same experience with Cruise as Cher (she named the actress “one of the best lovers she’s ever had”) and Gilbert admitted that the their relationship beyond making out.
“I didn’t have sex with him. We figured out, but honestly, there was no gender, ”Gilbert explained. “He was a good kisser, but you know, he was a tough, hungry actor and I worked.”
Because Cruise was struggling at the time and she was a working actress, she helped him with a sweet gift. “I bought him the first set of vessels,” she explained.
