Mary-Kate Olsen is desperate illustrious, especially because she and her twin sister, Ashley Olsen, don’t talk much to the media about their lives. The Olsen couple have been famous since they were little, but interviews with them are still long and small between them. While it is understood that they would not talk about everything with the media, there seem to be some issues that Mary-Kate does not bring up with friends.
Mary-Kate Olsen is not talking about being famous with her friends
It’s hard to imagine that anyone could be friends with Mary-Kate without being aware of her illustrious status. No matter what their experience, however, Mary-Kate will not discuss this with friends, as she shared in an interview with Elle in 2008.
“It’s strange to be named or talked about,” she said. “I don’t talk about being famous in my business meetings. I don’t talk about it with my friends. It’s not part of my life. It’s the media’s opinion of who I am. It’s very strange. ”
Mary-Kate also said, “I mean, if I see a paparazzi walking for me that’s in a magazine or something at an event, it’s like seeing it from a foreign perspective. That sounds like a character, almost, and then I am. I think it’s very attractive. ”
Mary-Kate Olsen does not see herself as rich and famous either
There is no doubt that Mary-Kate’s childhood was very different from that of most people her age. However, she also told Elle that she had normal times as well.
“I was brought up to go to regular school and still have friends from that time in my life,” said Mary-Kate. “And as cunning and hard-working as my life was, my parents knew how important it was to have a normal life too. I grew up in a large family. And although I was always surrounded by many adults [in show business], my main interest was horse riding, so my riding friends surrounded me as well. ”
Nevertheless, Mary-Kate and Ashley missed the main prom in 2004 to host Saturday Night Live, so the couple’s lives could not have been completely normal.
