“Fortunately, it didn’t,” Wahlberg said. “I didn’t hurry to see Brokeback, it is only my contract. Of course, it was made in taste – look how it got. “

You will not be given the opportunity to work with Ang Lee. “

This was one of the things I didn’t promise to make the film but my agent told Marty I was, ”explained Wahlberg. “Marty named me working as if he was so happy to make this film together and I said, ‘I’m not making the film. ‘”

“I wanted a different part and I wanted other different things,” he continued. “We had been talking about it for a long time, and then things happened and the studio pushed back on some things. I said, ‘Nah, I don’t want to do it.’ ”

Wahlberg did not want the position, but was sent to speak to Scorsese, who gave him the freedom to make up, telling him, “’Dude, you are free to do what you want him to do. ”
