After Unlocking Hollywood reported that they caught Woods cozying up to Thompson at his LA party, Woods and Jenner parting ways. Woods moved out of Jenner’s home and stayed with her mother. The model also found comfort in her family friends, Jaden Smith and Willow Smith. The Smith family also allowed Woods to share her side of the fake scandal at a program by Jada Pinkett Smith Red Table Conversation.

Since ending her relationship with Jenner, Woods has focused on her work, including brand collaborations, music ventures, and careers on Grown-ish and Trigger. However, Woods said she would be open to talking to Jenner again and hopes they can get to a better place as well.

Although she is willing to talk to Jenner, Woods said she is in a better position than she was when the scandal began. In conversation with Natalie Manuel Lee from Hillsong Church on a program of Now by Natalie, Woods said she learned more about herself because of the scandal, even though it hurt her family and Jenner.

“A lot can happen in one year, a lot,” Woods said. “Over the months, and losing everything I thought I knew and gaining so much experience, you can only be happy. With the strength I gained this year alone, nothing else would have shaped the person I am today. “
