No, Jin’s father is not the CEO of Samsung
There is little information about Jin’s family outside of BTS. However, when it comes to the executive officers behind Samsung, the South Korean-based company, none of them have been confirmed to be Jin’s father. Jin’s father may be in charge of another company.
According to some sleuthing from BTS fans, Jin’s father is reportedly the CEO of a company, as well as the owner of “one or two restaurants.” It is unclear who or if Jin ever worked there before joining the K-pop group.
During an interview with Jimmy Fallon, he said if he wasn’t in BTS, he would be an actor. In fact, he was going to school for acting when he was picked up for Big Hit Entertainment.
Others fans they compiled evidence showing that Jin ‘s mother was an old Miss Korea, citing an old photograph of Worldwide Handsome Jin with his mother, but that theory has since sunk.

As far as other BTS members go, some members are more open about sharing their friends and family than others. Jungkook shared photos of himself holding hands with his mother, even thanking his parents at one birthday celebration.
Amino Apps reports RM’s parents were not musicians. In fact, “his father is a SK Telekom employee and his mother a realtor.” The members and fans are their own kind of family, as BTS often spends time touring around the world, inspiring new music in the process.
