DC Obamas Premises
Hello! Iris note that the pair bought a Tudor-style mansion in the affluent Kalorama neighborhood in Washington DC for $ 8.1 million.
The building is more than 8,000 square feet and has nine bedrooms, eight and a half bathrooms, gardens, platforms, and an au pair row downstairs. It was built in the 1920s and was refurbished with modern marble decoration and rubbing.
In 2018, Mrs Obama told Ellen DeGeneres: “We were in the White House for eight years, but it was not the house, it was ours. It was our value and our love for each other. We have just moved that to another house. “
