The 2020 holiday season will definitely look different from years past but Ina Garten is here with a solution. The longtime guest of Contessa barefooted headlines were made early in the pandemic coronavirus (COVID-19) by viral cocktail video.
Since then she has shared quarantine pantry staples and is now a 72-year-old cookbook author and celebrity chef offering suggestions for holiday entertainment.
Ina Garten recommends eating outside of this holiday season
During an interview on NPR‘s Everything considered Garten decided that holiday gatherings do not have to be postponed this year.
“If it’s a beautiful day and you can make it outside, you can definitely invite someone and have a long table,” she said before adding, “You definitely have to be aware of social distance. ”
“One group is sitting at one end and the other is sitting at the other, and you can cover yourself with blankets and wear winter coats,” she said.
