Ina Garten’s Favorite Thanksgiving Appetizers Aren’t Fussy: Barefoot Contessa’s No-Cook Favorites Are Store-Bought

If there is a growing emphasis on designing the Thanksgiving table, it is okay to take summaries. Ina Garten fully supports that idea, offering up the simplest of uncooked appetizers that will leave guests satisfied while not overfilling or taking time to prepare.

Ina Garten says you don’t overdo Thanksgiving spies

While Garten is known for her tasty dishes, she’s not averse to using hacks she’s learned over the years. A big move for Garten is to use products bought in stores to save time and she advised her fan to do so when they asked her about Thanksgiving appetizers.

In 2009 Food Network Special thanks, an observer asked about preparing appetizers for the holidays. “My family won’t eat Thanksgiving dinner until mid-afternoon,” the fan wrote, “We usually dry beef with cream cheese rolled around a pickle, meatballs, maybe a shrimp cocktail. ”

They continued, “Could you give me a new idea that will become my favorite old family? ”

Garten Answer – go away with the appetizers involved and instead serve something light and easy to prepare. “Of course I have a good idea … don’t do any of them.”

It turns out that the answer to this appetizer question is a lot easier than you would think the Barefoot Contessa would suggest. Garten said she puts out no-bake appetizers that are purchased in store and not over-filled so it delivers a few snacks before the big meal.

“Keep it very simple and spend your time making a good Thanksgiving dinner. This is what I do – uncooked appetizers, ”she explained. “What a great way to start a party.”

“I take three small bowls – I like silver bowls – and fill them with store-bought snacks,” Garten said. “Like roasted, salted cashews, really good ones, some salted potato chips – they were loved as kids, they’re great with drinks.”

She continued, “And then I like something grapes, like a caper lizard. Three little flavors of things to keep people from filling up, they have something to eat with a glass of wine. ”

“Three bowls, no cooking. It’s as easy as that, ”she said.

Her Thanksgiving table comments are simple too

Garten has shared her Thanksgiving space setting wisdom in the past as well and, surprisingly, she goes with some groceries bought in stores to make a beautiful table without much rest.

In a Food Network video, Garten shared some table décor suggestions, which ranged from using vibrant orange tulips, to using groups of small pumpkins, and a distribution of edible medium products that are sure to you send any guest.

Garten commented on the delicious table setting, “I’m just going to get some tasty things to serve with coffee and make them down the middle of the table. She said, “The decoration is the dessert.”

At the table are a number of small flavors and fruits, such as pears, grains, and caramels covered with chocolate with sea salt on them, served on pedals and foot plates.
