Ina Garten could not survive without roast chicken

Sitting down with Food and Wine to discuss the return of her TV show, Casteisgte consessa: Cook as pro, Garten shared the recipe she could not have survived without. No wonder here it’s a roast chicken, a signature dish to it.

“I think it’s roast chicken. For me, it’s classic, comfortable home cooking and it’s very simple to make, ”she said.

For them, the best part about it is that whole foods can be created using just one pan.

“I like to make roast chicken and fill the bowl with lemon and thyme, and then roast it in a pan of carrots and potatoes and onions, and it’s a dish in one dish,” Garten said.
