Depp gained an early reputation in his acting career, and has had successful careers in Hollywood for decades. But he has certainly fallen at difficult times both personally and professionally. Rolling Stone reported in 2018 that the $ 650 million Depp he collected from movies was almost gone.

An actor can’t just lose $ 650 million overnight. And there seems to have been one major loss of money in Depp’s life as a result of his management company. Rolling Stone reports accusing Depp of the Executive Group of “negligence, breach of trust duty, and fraud. ”

According to the suit, Depp’s sister was given $ 7 million and Depp’s assistant was given $ 750,000 without Depp signing those expenses. Not only that, but Rolling Stone notes that Depp had to pay $ 5.6 million to the IRS in late fees. One of the business managers from the Executive Group should have noted this. And accordingly Variety, the damage was even worse. Depp noticed that his taxes had not been paid for 17 years, resulting in $ 100 million in IRS taxes.

Depp claims the group cost him “tens of millions” of dollars, and sued for $ 25 million. The brothers in charge of the group opposed Depp after the fact.

according to Variety, Depp and the Executive reached a settlement – but whatever happened certainly cost Depp a big change.

Amber Heard and Depp have been doubling in court for months. According to Heard, Depp abused her when they married, although Depp denied the allegations. They eventually reached a $ 7 million settlement, and Heard handed over the money.

It didn’t end there for the exes. Depp filed a $ 50 million lawsuit against Heard after Heard wrote op-ed about suffering abuse and violence. Depp refused for a libel, though his name was never explicitly stated in the op-ed.

From September 2020, CinemaBlend reports Heard is filing a $ 100 million lawsuit against Depp in damages. The counter-filing from Heard alleges that Depp hired “dozens if not hundreds of votes” to push her story online and discredit her.

The Heard / Depp case continues, but there is no doubt that sufficient legal fees detract from Depp ‘s wealth.
