With so many memorable and accessible parts of Hocus Pocus, it’s hard to pick a favorite. However, one of the writers behind this film expressed his views on why it is still so symbolic. ‘Hocus Pocus’ was first published in 1993
It’s just a handful of hocus pocus – or is it? When one maiden lights the black flame candle on Halloween night, he gets a bigger path than he wanted. While they may be witches, many prefer them Hocus Pocus the fans are the Sanderson Sisters, Winifred, Sarah, and Mary.
Designed by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy respectively, these witches aim to draw life out of the children of Salem. They even do “I Put a Spell on You” at a Halloween party. Max defeated them. However, their legacy lives on in the hearts of those who watch the film.

Why is ‘Hocus Pocus’ still so popular?
The resurrection of the Sanderson Sisters has been talked about (again) for a sequel to the famous Halloween film. Although nothing has been confirmed, writer Mick Garris considered the mystery Hocus Pocussuccess.
“I’m excited about it, but I think the main reason the film worked was the Sanderson Sisters, the actresses in those roles, those achievements, which I think are as a key part of the long life of that film, ”Garris said in an interview with ComicBook.com.
“It was only partially successful when it came out, at best. And I think those are the reasons it’s still been around since it came out in 1993. And I’d like to see them return there, ”he continued. “I think that’s the plan, but I don’t know. I’ve heard that’s what’s happening, and I believe it will be for Disney +, but I’m not involved, which is good. You don’t always want to look at every handstone of the past. ”
Will ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ be on Disney +?
There is good news for fans of this cult classic film. Hocus Pocus 2 was confirmed as a TV movie, to be available on Disney streaming platform, Disney +. Workaholics writer and co-producer Jen D’Angelo will write the script, respectively Vulture.
The date of the first series of this sequel is not yet known, as is the official team of this show. Some are hoping the Sanderson Sisters will return, although the team has not been confirmed yet. Until then, there are plenty of Halloween-related movies available on the Disney streaming platform.
