In a long interview with The New York Times, Baldwin desperately wanted to clarify his side of the story.

She told the publication that she is “bilingual, and that she speaks English with varying degrees of Spanish accent depending on how happy or upset she feels.”

She also says she never knew anyone was giving her a Spanish label, saying she never read magazine pieces about herself.

And all the time on live TV she asked for the word “cucumber? Baldwin calcifies that up to a “brain fart,” because she was terribly crazy.

The internet conversation continues, with Twitter users posting various videos of Baldwin and highlighting how her accent is changing.

“The things I’ve shared about myself are very clear,” Baldwin told the New York Times. The yoga instructor and author shared her background, meaning her story has not changed:

I was born in Boston. I spent time in Boston and Spain. My family now lives in Spain. I moved to New York when I was 19 and have been living here ever since. For me, it feels like I’ve spent 10 years sharing that story over and over again. And now it seems like it’s not enough.

Baldwin confirmed his story in Instagram role.

“I understand that my story is a little different, but I have it, and I’m very proud of it,” she wrote in the caption to her video.

She also told the Times that she was honest with Alec Baldwin about where she (Boston) was from when they met and started dating.

But, as the announcement said, recently Saturday Night Live the guest once said to David Letterman in an interview: “My wife is from Spain.”

However, Hilaria Baldwin claims to have spent much of her life traveling in Spain, visiting major cities such as Madrid, Seville and Valencia.

According to The Times, she went first as a child, and then every year thereafter, at least once. She declined to comment on the timing, saying it would be “difficult.”

However, she acknowledged that “the school is sometimes involved.”

“Sometimes it was a holiday,” Baldwin said cotninued. “It was a mix, mishmash, is that the right word? As a combination of different things. ”

But her family also spoke Spanish at home in Boston.

“When we weren’t in Spain, we would call it ‘we brought Spain into our home,'” Baldwin explained.

Her children’s names are Spanish-influenced, Baldwin said, based on close friends. The language is also present in its own home.

“I send them to a bilingual school where they speak Spanish at school and I speak to them in Spanish at home,” said Baldwin about her children.

What about the relatively recent name change?

Baldwin told the New York Times that she had a few nicknames over the years, but “as she got older, she wanted to choose one version of her name, and she chose Hilaria. ”

However, she did not explain further – and turned the conversation into celebrity privacy.

“I deserve my privacy,” Baldwin told the paper. “People say, ‘No, you have no right to your privacy because you married a celebrity and you have Instagram. ‘Well, that’s not true. ”
