Guy Fieri is a TV personality, Food Network star, and celebrity chef. He keeps his kitchen full of his favorite ingredients so he can “take the food off the hook” in no time. But in recent years the 52-year-old has admitted he often gets a call from his wife for buying too much of one staple pantry.

Apparently, the population is Diners, Drive-Ins, and divers you cannot get tinned tomatoes. In an interview in February 2015 with Food NetworkFN Dish, Fieri considered all things grocery buying while promoting his latest TV show, Guy’s Grocery Games.
When asked who is “spent” at the grocery store, Fieri did not hesitate to name his longtime wife, Lori Fieri.
“She keeps track of what’s going on, what we’re buying: ‘We don’t need that,'” he said.
The restauranteur said when he puts a can of tomatoes in their cart, she puts them back.
“You know what I always kiss? Tomato sauce, ”he said. “Every time I see San Marzano tomatoes and buy them, it’s like, ‘Enough.’ I put them in the cart and then walk away to do something else. I come back and the tomatoes are gone. She is sent back. “We have plenty of tomatoes.”
