Gucci Mane Taunts Jeezy Ahead of Verzuz Battle With Meme About His Dead Friend, Fans React

After years of conflict, Gucci Mane and Jeezy are slated to come together for what could be the biggest battle of Verzuz ever.

Naturally, some fans described this collaboration as peace between the rappers, but it probably wasn’t. Ever since Verzuz was announced, Gucci Mane has continued to take jabs at the other Atlanta rapper, recently making jokes that left fans screaming.

A detailed history of the conquest of Gucci Mane and Jeezy

As collaborators, the rappers began to inquire in the mid-2000s about the rights to their 2005 song “Icy. ”As indicated by Complex, Jeezy hoped the song would appear on his debut album We get it: He inspired 101, but was eventually finalized on Gucci Mane ‘s debut album Trap house.

As a result Jeezy had a number of diss tracks from all sides, including “Stay Strapped,” where he fired a bounty out of one of the rapper’s chains.

As tensions arose, the drama turned to death later in 2005, when partner Jeezy Henry Lee Clark III and three other men entered an apartment visited by Gucci Mane and attacking.

During the attack, Gucci Mane responded with gunfire, injuring Clark fatally. He would then have been arrested for murder but was released in 2006 after claiming self-defense.

Gucci Mane have continued to throw shots at Jeezy ahead of their battle in Verzuz

The latest injection came on November 17, when Gucci Mane posted a meme on Instagram that mocked Clark’s death. The image shows how Jeezy could respond to Gucci Mane playing his 2012 song “Truth,” where he raps, “Go dig your partner, [N-word], bet he can’t say sh * t. ”Gucci Mane laughed at the meme in the caption, sharing several silly emojis.

So far, Jeezy has not responded to the injection, but social media users had plenty to say.

“Welp, verzus over before it even started 🤦‍♂️😂,” one wrote and another said, “This certainly doesn’t end well… .😂😂😂😂😂. ”

“I think this is the first one against an A1 that needs security,” said a third fan as someone else persuaded both parties “to play nice.”

Hopefully it will be possible for the two to keep these together – at least for the fans. But we’ll see.
