Gilmore’s daughters fans have always wondered if Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) ends up with Dean Forester (Jared Padalecki), Jess Mariano (Milo Ventimiglia), or Logan Huntzberger (Matt Czuchry). The three lovers identified important points in the character’s life. Now, everyone has their own opinion on the matter. Then Czuchry recently revealed that he would have eliminated Logan and Rory if he had sat in the Gilmore’s daughters writers’ room.
Where ‘Gilmore Girls’ left Rory Gilmore and Logan Huntzberger’ s relationship
At this stage, Gilmore’s daughters fans may not know who Rory really ends up with. But all honestly, this shouldn’t matter. In an interview with Time from November 2019, creator Amy Sherman-Palladino opened the big debate about a lover within the fandom.
“Rory is a small part of who he is,” Sherman-Palladino said of the character’s lovers. ‘Rory didn’t spend his days thinking,’ Who am I going to end with? ‘Rory was more worried about’ How do I get that interview for the New York Times? ‘
She later said, “They were there to show Rory’s evolution as a character. She chose special boys for her based on who she was at the time. It was part of her character. It was part of her development that Dean became her first boyfriend, that Jess was the boy who attracted her attention. Then she woke up with Logan. “
Sherman-Palladino also recalled Gilmore’s daughters fans that Rory ‘s relationship with Lorelai was far more important than her love affair with Logan, Dean, and Jess.
“Strongly, they were always there to tell stories about Lorelai and Rory,” she said. “That was the heart of everything. Lorelai, Rory’s relationship was a way for us to explore the mother-daughter relationship. ”
