Fuller House Candace Cameron Bure alum believes married couples should have more sex, and is not afraid to talk about it.
The 44-year-old mother of three was on fire from her conservative Christian audience after she posted a smoky photo of her husband, hocky pro Valeri Bure, grabbing her breast. Bure hit back saying the image was perfectly appropriate as Valeri is her husband.
The sitcom star recently joined the podcast Crappy Christian Confession to discuss how to handle sex conversations in her home. Bure explained that her way of discussing marriage relationships is often and honestly, even with her children.
Candace Cameron Bure defended the saucy photo of her husband giving birth to her breast
Compared to some star post photos, the image of Bure and her husband becoming frisky was quite tame. But fans of the Hallmark Channel star are very conservative and have been shocked to see his beloved’s role model in a “compromise” situation.
However, Bure was shocked and encouraged by these comments. “For all the Christians who question my position with my husband’s hand on my bob – my 24 year old husband – thinking it was inappropriate, it makes me laugh because my husband is it is, ”said Bure.
“We have a lot of fun together. He can contact me whenever he wants, and I hope he does. That is marriage and a healthy, good relationship. ”
She talks to her children about sex all the time
Two months after the steam photo scandal, Bure went ahead on the Crappy Christian Confession podcast to explain her approach to healthy sex life. During the conversation, she commented on how she teaches her three children to respect and value sexual relations.
“[Sex] to celebrate something as a Christian, ”said Bure. “Sex doesn’t stop when you get married. Sex is a marriage blessing, and I hate it when Christians are like, ‘No! You have to pretend you have never had sex ‘and’ We only know that you have had sex three times because you have had three children. ‘”
She went on, talking about how she talks about it with her children. “I lived in such a fear that, ‘Oh my gosh, I have no right to be a sex man because I have to save myself, God is going to think negatively of me if I’m having sex… ‘”she continued.
“Maybe I’m bothering my kids, again, because I’ve talked about sex with them all their lives,” she said. “I’m just doing it as part of everyday conversation.”
Ultimately, Candace Cameron Bure doesn’t care what her critics think
Most fans weren’t confused with Bure’s photo on Instagram in the first place. But even for those who have taken offense, she hopes to set an example of healthy relationships and breaking down stereotypes.
“I really like that so many people were commenting on it. It made me laugh because I wasn’t trying to comment, ”she said Fox News. “This is just the way my husband and I are. You know, we love each other and we still have fun and we are spicy together. ”
Fans should expect more love pictures in the future. And Bure children can expect to hear more details about how sex is just a healthy expression of love, according to their parents.
