Elvis Presley’s Fiancée, Ginger Alden, Said His Last Vacation Ever With Her Was Cut Short for Medical Reasons

Elvis Presley he is not known for his music. He also had a good reputation when it came to love interests. While everyone knew about his marriage to Priscilla Presley, King Rock ‘n’ Roll died as a man involved in modeling Ginger Alden.

Alden was the last person Presley saw alive. And she also remembers what her last vacation to Hawaii was like. Here’s what she said about her tropical trip and why it was cut short.

Alden and Presley met technically when Alden was just 5 years old. And 15 years later, they reconnected and started romance. Presley was 20 years older than Alden, but this did not stop the model from believing that she and the King intended her to be. And they planned to walk down the aisle in December 1977.

Unfortunately, Presley and Alden never got married. Presley died in Graceland’s bathroom in August 1977. And Alden was the one who found him. On the night of his death, Presley told Alden he was going into the bathroom to read it – and Alden noticed that Presley was still there several hours later. She finally opened the bathroom door and found him crouching over it.

“I didn’t want to think he was dead,” she said. “God wouldn’t want to take him with you so soon.”

There were plenty of rumors surrounding Alden and Presley’s relationship. From issues with other women to Presley’s difficult temperament, many questioned what it was like to be the queen of beauty and the musician behind the scenes. But Alden has fond memories of Presley.

Australian Elvis notes Alden spoke about her last vacation with Presley in March 1977 in an interview.

“My time with Elvis was so special and a lot of the holidays were in Hawaii,” Alden explained. “Elvis knew I had never been to Hawaii and wanted to take my whole family but only my sisters could go at this time. … My sisters and Elvis stayed with Elvis behind Lisa Marie as they flew, laughed, laughed and sang. ”

Unfortunately, a medical case was filed on a Hawaiian vacation. “The trip was so beautiful but unfortunately it was cut short when Elvis irritated one of his eyes and we had to return to Memphis,” Alden said. “I stayed at Graceland and was given eye cream for a few days so I could help him get ready for his next visit. “

Presley seems to have had a special place at the heart of the tropical state. Graceland Blog noting that he spent a ton of time vacationing, recording and playing in Hawaii. Presley was so obsessed with Hawaii that he created even one of Graceland’s favorite accommodations, “The Jungle Room,” to look as nice and beautiful as the state. He would often hang out and record music in that place.

It was reported that his first visit to the state was in 1957, as he had a concert at the Honolulu Stadium and then another performance at the Schofield Army Barracks in Oahu. In 1961, Presley performed a benefits concert on the Pearl Harbor naval base. The event aimed to raise money to create a memorial to those who died in the Pearl Harbor bombing.

As well as entertainment, Presley seems to have enjoyed bringing his family and friends there as well. Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley went on holiday in Hawaii in 1969, although they used the last name “Carpenter” to get there unnoticed by fans.
