But despite Olsen’s hard work, she still faced criticism at many stages of her career because of her famous uber sisters. Some people suggested that the actor’s success was due to nepotism. So just how did the actor react to this criticism? In an interview with 2018 with Off camera, the Ingrid going west star says she made sure she was equipped with the necessary tools to be confident in her acting abilities.
“I went into NYU and while I was there I always felt like I had to have the tools as if I had always been an actor,” Olsen began. “I had to have all the tools and I had to be confident about what I was going to do to hear the nepotism ideas. I had to be very confident in such skills and abilities and that, you know, I put in the time because you are going to say sh * t no matter what I do. If I’m bad, I’m bad. If I’m good, it’s nepotism. ”
The WandaVision star developed a work-intensive philosophy
Olsen continued to share that she developed a very strong work ethic to deal with the nepotism analysts. The WandaVision the actress even gained a reputation in college for being a “Predictive Nazi” because of her passion for her craft. With hard work, she eventually overcame the fear that her success would be called into question by her sisters.
“I always needed to prove this to myself and to please everyone around me that I work hard,” Olsen said. “I think it was just the fear that you don’t earn or deserve the things you work for because of who you’re naturally connected to. And even part of me, when I was a little girl, I always thought I was an actress I go with Elizabeth Chase, which is a middle name for me. And then once I started working I was like I love my family, I love my name, I love my sisters. Why should I be ashamed of that? And so, you know, you have those weird thoughts and then you just get over it. ”

Olsen has certainly proved that her success is not due to her sisters. In fact, many of her fans are unaware that she is even related to Mary-Kate and Ashley. It is very likely that the ideas of Nepotism will not completely disappear, but Olsen has learned that they will eradicate them.
