Actor Chris Evans he is best known as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. He is also known for cracking jokes about the character on social media. Learn how he handled presidential election comparisons Joe Biden with his age portrait of Cap.
Chris Evans painted Steve Rogers in the MCU
Evans began appearing as Steve Rogers in 2010 Captain America: The First Avenger. Living in New York during World War II, the character is introduced with a super serum that turns him into a Captain America, a hero with incredible strength (and, among other things, a process that slower).
The actors returned to the role several times, featuring two more Captain America movies and the four Avengers films before his contract expired. “There were a million ways that a full Marvel tenure could go wrong – and it didn’t,” Evans said Entertainment tonight of returning to the post. “We’ll just be pleased with how well it ended.”
Some compared his last scene ‘Avengers: Endgame’ to Joe Biden
In the last act of Avengers: Endgame, Steve returns each of the Infinity Stones to the time and place they were discovered before they defeated Thanos. He then lives in his original time, growing old with Peggy Carter. After spending a full life, he appears as an old man in 2023 and gives his shield to Sam Wilson.
For his look as Old Man Steve, Evans wore makeup and a wig to bring him to old age (with a little help from some digital influences). And in November 2020, many decided that Biden and Evans’ age are similar, using times from Endgame to illustrate this point.
Evans co-founded a politics website, A Starting Point
Evans hasn’t been as busy with acting promises since Endgame premiered. Instead, he turned the focus into a project of a different kind. Prior to the election, he launched A Start Point, a website he co-founded specifically to share information about candidates and U.S. policy.
While ASP is expected to remain two-pronged, Evans himself did not do the same. He has been vocal in his dislike of President Donald Trump, sharing much of this on Twitter. When Biden won the 2020 election, Evans issued a statement on Trump’s victory, simply writing, “No.” You lost. ”
Here is what he said about the comparisons
While Evans and many others enjoyed post-election results on social media, one commented. “I would like to interview Joe Biden for ASP dressed as old Steve Rogers,” they tweeted. Evans replied bluntly: “I’ve already started writing ours Parental trap repeat. ”
This exchange resulted in a joke related to the 1998 version of the beloved film, starring Lindsay Lohan. “Instead of reuniting their parents (hi, dead), THEY ARE SPECIAL. Also, a major prank war, ”replied one Twitter user. “Joe biden is listening to chris evans,” came the reply.
