Per ABC, the couple sold the exclusive photo rights to OK! Magazine for $ 1.4 million, apparently. From there, People Magazine bought the rights to republish the photos for $ 800k, bringing the total price to $ 2.2 million.
Battle between OK! And Hello! Magazine followed by Hello! low quality published images captured by a hidden camera at the wedding. Hello! sued for damages, with Zeta-Jones testifying during the six-week trial. She felt that the pictures did not emphasize her in the best light and violated her privacy.

Zeta-Jones told the court she felt “broken” by the “sleazy and unflattering” images. The Daily Mail reporting, during her testimony, Zeta-Jones noted a photo of Douglas feeding her cake published by Hello !. “Usually my husband doesn’t like to take a spoon down his neck to take pictures,” she said.
Douglas and Zeta-Jones won the case but there was an appeal. They eventually decided not to pursue the matter but okay! He moved on without them and won the bid in 2007 for more than $ 2 million.

Douglas echoed similar sentiments, writing a video montage, “Happy 20th Birthday my love! I love you always and forever. “
