Fans of Blue blood has noticed that Frank Reagan looks like an iconic president. Tom Selleck modeled the character after a real police commissioner. But this is how Frank works as someone who went on to lead the country.

Frank is usually seen in his office talking to Garrett (Gregory Jbara), Sid (Robert Clohessy), and Abigail (Abigail Hawk). But there are times when Frank leaves his office to be at the bedside of a bullet officer, or to visit someone’s home.
The police commissioner is usually seen with his trench coat and round glasses. Fans thought his signature look similar to the 26th president of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt. This made it on the website dedicated to the president.
“The stars of the show are Tom Selleck, Magnum PI himself. Selleck will play Frank Reagan, New York City Police Commissioner, a TR role filled in the late 1890s, ”read a blog post on Roosevelt Theodore Center.
He also noted that the Selleck character is similar. “Fans of Blue blood has also noticed the resemblance of Selleck’s character to TR. One program also showed Reagan leaving the office and hitting the streets to understand what was happening in the city. TR did the same, ”said the postman.
Surprisingly the actor has not played Roosevelt despite the fact that he seems to have a good place for it. The actors are Tom Berenger, Paul Giamatti, Richard Dreyfuss, Robin Williams, and more.
Frank is quick to call people when he gives a lesson to his children at the dinner table. But it was Nicky (Sami Gayle) who Roosevelt said in the program, “Unsung Heroes” where she recounted one of his speeches, making Frank proud.
