Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez went on the right date when tabloids exploded

By 2002, Affleck had been in blockbusters as Armageddon and Pearl Harbor. He knew there would be interest in his personal life. However, the tabloid industry went to the next level just as Lopez was going back.

There is always the story of the month. I go on to say that Jennifer Lopez happened to be that tabloid story at a time when that industry grew exponentially. “I had to do it in the industry twice because I got so cold so I wasn’t so cool so out of there I had to kind of start a career completely,” said Affleck. “Before I was just starting at the starting line. Now I had to start a mile further because not only did people not see me, but a negative man raised by a tabloid press that was very careless and careless would just be writing things that were not true. ”
