- 1 tablespoon of honey
- ½ teaspoon real vanilla extract

- 1 large loaf of challah or brioche bread

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Whisk the eggs, half and half or milk, orange juice, honey, vanilla, and salt together in a shallow dish. Dip the slices of the bread, cut ¾ inches thick, and soak in the egg mixture for a few minutes, turning over to coat on all sides.
