Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel were almost nowhere near Ryan and Sharpay. Unfortunately, the actors were unable to get away from the screen. Despite playing the iconic sibling duo inside High School Musical 1-3, apparently got off the wrong leg during the test process and hated each other.
‘High School Musical’ premiered in 2006 on Disney Channel
It is hard to believe that it has been almost 15 years since then High School Musical first on Disney Channel. The film arrived very quickly, and children could not go anywhere without someone exploding into “We’re All In This Together” on the school playground.
But despite the cheerfulness and optimism of the films, things were a little warmer and more attentive behind the scenes. At least this was true for Tisdale and Grabeel, who say they never got up while shooting. Their characters may have been rooted for each other, but according to Grabeel, “they went astray” and despised each other because of it.
Ashley Tisdale says she and Lucas Grabeel ‘hated each other’
Tisdale and Grabeel made a Youtube video where they put on a beautiful cover of their amazing song, “What I’ve Been Looking For.” But before they got into the music, they filled in the fans on the off-screen drama.
“We were nowhere near it,” admitted Tisdale. “We weren’t good friends, let’s be honest. It’s been 10 years … We can talk about this now. We hated each other, ”she laughed. “Looks like I’m not kidding you. ”
“We didn’t get off on the right foot,” Grabeel agreed.
Tisdale then said they didn’t get along because she was very similar to her strong character, Sharpay.
“I don’t think we just knew each other,” she said. “And I think I was very much like Sharpay, and Lucas was like, ‘Who is this man? ‘And I was like,’ Who is it seo anyone? ‘But after we fold, I don’t know. I have always loved you. You are literally like my twin brother. “
“I love you too,” Grabeel said. “You know, Mr Rodgers had a big quota, and it’s ‘You can learn to love anyone if you hear their story.’ And I think that’s what he brought. We just had to live a little life and go through experiences together, and learn where we both came from. ”
Lucas Grabeel says Ashley Tisdale tried to take control of his lab
As it turned out, their sex ever started from the testing process. According to Grabeel, Tisdale tried to give him unsolicited notes on the exam he was already preparing.
“I remember hearing Ashley and hating her because she wanted to do a lot,” Grabeel admitted Account Board. “I was like, ‘Look, I don’t want to communicate much. ‘”
He said, ” I just want to work on my own, and I’ve come. ‘ But we ran through the scene together outside, and she gave me notes in true Sharpay fashion. I was like, ‘Who is this girl telling me how to do my own lab?’
