Ariana Grande is one of the most famous people alive, however, she even gets starstruck sometimes. She even started shaking when she met one of her eagles, who “examined” and “worshiped.” Here’s a look at what happened when the two images met – and which image did better on the pop records overall.
Ariana Grande fangirls over artist known as ‘the man’
In 2020, Grande interviewed Account Board‘s Gil Kaufman. During the interview, she discussed everything from Fiona Apple’s record Fetch and Bolt Cutters to Mac Miller her own feelings about interviews. She even talked about how she coped when she first met a superhero with whom she looked like a career model.
“I love Madonna,” Grande said. “She is the one. What do you say about it? Is she the one? The first time I met her, I was just shaking. And I was like, I studied and worshiped you. And yes, I don’t even know what to say…. And it was just like, ‘Thank you. And I love you. ‘”
At Madonna’s performance with Grande, Queen of Pop went around Grande, who later thanked her for doing so on Twitter. Grande looked very giddy while on stage with Queen of Pop. At one point, she even popped, locked, and let go – a dance move that was popular in the 2000s.
Who did better on the pop charts?
Grande and Queen of Pop are both icons. This raises an interesting question: Which artist has been more successful on the American records? 38 of Madonna ‘s singles reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Of those singles, 12 reached the top of the chart. On the other hand, 18 Grande singles reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Of these, 5 reached the top of the list. Grande remains a major force on the charts until she overcomes Madonna’s success at some point. However, Madonna is still the Queen of Pop – both on the records and in Grande ‘s heart.
