Amina Buddafly has been in bloom since she left Love & Hip Hop and leaves Peter Gunz and his love triangle behind. The talented singer and musician is busy with her music course and being the mother of her two daughters, which she shares with Gunz.
Fans of the show remember Buffafly and Gunz’s poisonous relationship. Nevertheless, Buddafly has no regrets about marrying Gunz and still regards him as a friend.

Buddafly and Gunz ‘s controversial relationship with Gunz divided his time managing his marriage to Buddafly and an ongoing relationship with his longtime partner, Tara Wallace. For years, Love & Hip Hop the audience watched Buddafly in constant pain while wanting Gunz to be monogamous. She finally had enough after Wallace revealed she was expecting another baby with Gunz.

Despite his heartbreak, Buddafly does not regret her relationship with Gunz and considers him one of her favorites. She shared such in a 2019 interview with Shannon Mack TV, explaining that, despite the baggage at their meeting, she married because of his personality.
“It’s something you can’t explain. I’ve said this several times in interviews, it seems, until you hang out with him for a day, you wouldn’t understand, ”she said. “His personality and everything else. He’s just, a good guy and one of my favorite people I’ve ever met, I still say that, but he’s not just someone who can be with one woman. He is not a good man. ”

At the time of their meeting, Gunz had seven children with four different women. By the time Buddafly filed for divorce in 2018, Gunz was a father of 10, two of whom owned Buddafly.
Buddafly moved to LA for a fresh start amid her separation from Gunz, telling Showbiz in an interview in 2020 that she felt the move was necessary. But in doing so, she is now a full-time single mother to her and Gunz’s two daughters.
“I had to hit the bottom of a cliff and know that Peter and I had an unstable relationship before I left,” she said in April 2020. “I wasn’t sure of the plane when it flew. me from New York to Cali but I knew I had to. It was the hardest decision but it was the best decision. ”

Buddafly admits that co-parenting on individual coasts is difficult and she even blames herself for much of it. To begin with, Buddafly states that she knew of Gunz ‘s responsibilities with his other seven children before he married.
“I decided to have children with someone who already had eight other children. it was [a red flag], but to be in love, I am just so hard. So apparently, I was just blind. I wasn’t worried, ”she told Shannon Mack.

And I have to say, we didn’t design the kids. It happened and it was as it was. After all, I guess, who’s to blame. I had to look at myself because I could have chosen someone else to have kids who would have been around. But things do happen and you have to make the most of it. That’s why I’m not complaining, but it’s still sad. I’m not going to do something like everything is really good. I sometimes complain to him when I feel he could do more and do better. He knows.

Plus, her move to complex LA did things a little more than she’s responsible for. “We have the arguments, but just, it was I who decided to move all the way to California, so obviously if I was still on the east coast it would be around more.”
Buddafly says Gunz is making his best efforts to be a father in spite of the situation.
